Bettina from Bramsche

I am Bettina Ibrahim, 58 years old and I have a congenital myopathy, a mutation in the RYR1 gene, a multi-minicore myopathy.

I have 2 grown-up children and 2 grandchildren and live at home in Germany, in Bramsche, near Osnabrück.

I am passionate about singing in a large choir, I like doing handicrafts and making things.

Sometimes I can still walk short distances, but for safety I sometimes use a rollator, walking stick or Nordic walking sticks. I use an electric wheelchair for longer distances.
