What help is available?

There is a wide range of help available for those affected. We have compiled a selection of comprehensive, up-to-date information and further advice services here.

German Society for Muscle Diseases e.V.

As our member, you can receive free advice on aids from the DGM as our cooperation partner. You can also find the DGM’s information service here (link for members only) with all sections from care/therapy to aids and legal provisions.

Federal Association for People with Physical and Multiple Disabilities e.V.

The legal guide “My child is disabled – what help is available” provides an initial overview of the benefits to which people with disabilities are entitled in easy-to-understand language.

Bundesverband Selbsthilfe Körperbehinderter e.V.

Our umbrella organization BSK also provides advice on legal, social and health issues. Please contact our local contact points directly to find out whether specific help can be offered.
